We live in Portugal. That tree was established when we got the place so we don't know exactly what it is. When the fruits start to mature they are round and green and taste like limes, but then grow into larger yellow round fruits that still taste a bit like lime. We suspect that it may be because of cross pollination from the other (definitely) lemon trees nearby.
Almonds? Neat, hadn't considered that. Given lemon/lime tree I suppose you are in a subtropical climate?

Very cool. I live in Florida, USA. Have a few plants here, always thinking about what else I can plant!
